33 Apocalypse Ave (and eventually to Limbo City), Friday Afternoon

Last week, Kathy had been an utter lump, eating ice cream and playing sad music and watching a lot of TV while she got used to life without the guys. This week wasn't actually much easier, but Kathy's tolerance for her own moping had run out and left her needing to do something that wasn't just dwell.

Fortunately, it wasn't like she was lacking in options. With the guys gone and Raven spending most of her time out in the woods, the house was just too big and full of memories. So she was moving back to the apartment above Luke's - along with Raven, at least nominally - and this week she'd really gotten her ass in gear when it came to packing. Most of the upstairs was packed, even if those boxes were still mostly stacked downstairs, and now she was just cleaning out their old rooms of the detritus the always seemed to accumulate under furniture and in corners.

Like this old credit card bill of Dante's from...April of 2017. Kathy snorted and rolled her eyes, preparing to toss it into the bin that was half-full of junk when she noticed that one of the items on there was in Hangul. Wait. Had Dante been learning stuff in Korean?

Wait. 김치 크림 파이. Was that a-- Kathy grabbed her phone and did a quick search and yep. It was pretty much exactly the kind of website she'd been expecting with a name like that. Definitely didn't have to do with desserts, that was for damn sure.

"Oh." She wasn't entirely sure what to make of it, especially since that was back when everything had still been really...rough...between them. They'd been friends, in a tentative kind of manner, but no more. So then why...?

"Hi, Portalocity? I've got a portal scheduled to Limbo City for later on this evening, but I was wondering, could I bump it up to earlier than that? Something this afternoon would be good, yeah."

Dante sighed softly. He freed himself from his jeans with his free hand as he played her, gentle and teasing.

"C'mon," he said. "Let's get you into the shower, beautiful."

"Mmm, okay," Kathy said, helping Dante out of his jeans.

Not being much of a help, considering where his hand was, but it was the thought that counted. Or something.

With one last shiver, she extricated herself from his hand and stepped into the shower, then turned and beckoned him with one hand--the other was already rolling a pink nipple between her fingers.

How the hell could any man turn down an invitation like that?

Dante stepped into the shower with eager speed, his hands reaching for her hips as soon as he was close enough. He pulled her up against him.

Kathy smiled up at him, feeling the hot press of his dick against her stomach that called forth an answering heat from between her legs. Wrapping her hand around him, she said, "Keep telling me what you've missed."

"I missed your hand," Dante said, a soft sigh in his voice as it curled around him. "I miss that firm, pretty ass of yours..."

He reached back and cupped it with one hand. "Still fuckin' perfect."

She pushed her ass against his hand, giving him a firmer grip. "You sure?" she asked, looking up at him with mischief-filled eyes. "It's been awhile since you've been inside there. You might need a more thorough check."

Dante laughed softly. "I dunno," he teased, "I fucked someone in the ass just last night..."

Not that it stopped him from letting his fingers stray over that entrance.

"Oh, well then," Kathy pretended to huff, her nose in the air, "I'd hate for you to have to repeat a performance, just cause I missed the first one. I'm sure I can find someone else who'd be interested."

...She wasn't moving her ass away from his fingers, though.

Dante leaned in to her ear.

"I bet yours is tighter," he murmured.

Kathy shuddered, his voice practically a physical caress up and down her body. Her hand stuttered over his shaft as she remembered she needed to inhale.

"Really only one way to find out..."

Dante nipped at her neck. "We could do that," he mused. "I missed the noises you make when I fuck you till you can't move."

He was going to have her a quivering pile of need before they even really started going. "I miss making those noises," she said with a small whimper. "The days get so long--"

She didn't want to reduce the reasons she missed them down to just sex. But there were days when her body just ached for a touch or a kiss or a caress and her hands and toys just weren't enough.

"Want me to call you more?" Dante asked softly, drawing circles around her entrance. "So I can tell you how fucking good it feels when you swallow me down - in any of these?"

"Makes me feel needy," Kathy said, wrinkling her nose. "And not in a sexy way."

She reached up and brought him in for a hot kiss. "You have other things going on and I get that."

And then she was kissing her way down his throat and chest. "But any time you wanna call me to talk dirty to me--" or even just to talk, nobody made her laugh like Dante did "--I'm happy to answer."

Dante laughed gently, letting his fingers slide up her back as she moved on down. "I didn't mean it in a needy way," he said softly. "I like hearing you come."

"Oh," Kathy said, looking up at him and blushing. And smiling a bit, too. "Then...yeah? Let me come in your ear while you tell me pretty things."

She went back to kissing him and then stopped again, her lips grazing his navel. "Bet, like, a quarter of the time, it leads to one of us getting a portal to finish up in person."

Not that she'd complain. Ever.

"Probably," Dante said, smiling down at her.

His eyes had gone soft, and his fingers brushed her hair away from her forehead. "But fuck... yeah... I'll wrap my hand around my dick and jack it off to that song any day, fuck."

That was such a Dante thing, combining a look of such utter fondness with a crude comment that Kathy's heart gave a hard thump against her chest as she found herself falling just a little deeper in love with him. She wasn't sure which one of them was more ridiculous, honestly.

"Good," she said as she finally got to her knees, lips moving over his abs. "Because I like hearing you come, too. The way your voice gets low and hoarse and that groan when you finally just empty out inside me..."

And then she couldn't talk because her mouth was full.

Dante's head thumped gently against the back of the shower wall.

Was that the groan she'd been talking about? Maybe not quite there yet.

"Fuckin' poetry, that mouth."

Nope. This groan had too much need in it, still. It wasn't the deep growl of completion she was talking about.

Look, Kathy could write a whole treatise of the different noises Dante made. He'd been quiet for so long that she'd learned to listen closely for them and that instinct hadn't gone away just because he was louder now.

So she just looked up at him with liquid eyes and tried to coax a few more noises out of him. Or words. He was having an amazing day for words thus far.

Dante panted a soft curse, his eyes half-lidded but intent on her face. "A fucking piece of art," he said softly. "You know your face is just the prettiest thing, right? Even without those fuck-me lips of yours."

She'd taught him words. He still didn't use them nearly as much as she did.

But he had them now, thanks to her.

"I missed that dark hair on that gorgeous skin," he half-babbled. "I missed those fuckin' eyes looking at me any which way."

And every time he made the effort to use them on her behalf, Kathy went just a little bit harder and a little bit harder in appreciation.

He was thick and heavy in her mouth, pressed all the way to the very back while she sucked, her tongue tracing designs on his underside. Kathy was going slow and taking her time, slowly winding him up.

Finally Dante was out of words, and his eyes slid all the way shut. A soft gasp escaped his lips, his fingers tightening in her hair.

And Kathy couldn't even be disappointed by it, not when he'd been so demonstrative with them before.

And not when he was reacting so beautifully now.

She eased off. "Do you want me to take you all the way into my throat?" she purred.

She wouldn't even make him use words to answer.
