33 Apocalypse Ave (and eventually to Limbo City), Friday Afternoon

Last week, Kathy had been an utter lump, eating ice cream and playing sad music and watching a lot of TV while she got used to life without the guys. This week wasn't actually much easier, but Kathy's tolerance for her own moping had run out and left her needing to do something that wasn't just dwell.

Fortunately, it wasn't like she was lacking in options. With the guys gone and Raven spending most of her time out in the woods, the house was just too big and full of memories. So she was moving back to the apartment above Luke's - along with Raven, at least nominally - and this week she'd really gotten her ass in gear when it came to packing. Most of the upstairs was packed, even if those boxes were still mostly stacked downstairs, and now she was just cleaning out their old rooms of the detritus the always seemed to accumulate under furniture and in corners.

Like this old credit card bill of Dante's from...April of 2017. Kathy snorted and rolled her eyes, preparing to toss it into the bin that was half-full of junk when she noticed that one of the items on there was in Hangul. Wait. Had Dante been learning stuff in Korean?

Wait. 김치 크림 파이. Was that a-- Kathy grabbed her phone and did a quick search and yep. It was pretty much exactly the kind of website she'd been expecting with a name like that. Definitely didn't have to do with desserts, that was for damn sure.

"Oh." She wasn't entirely sure what to make of it, especially since that was back when everything had still been really...rough...between them. They'd been friends, in a tentative kind of manner, but no more. So then why...?

"Hi, Portalocity? I've got a portal scheduled to Limbo City for later on this evening, but I was wondering, could I bump it up to earlier than that? Something this afternoon would be good, yeah."

Kathy took in a deep breath, one long inhale that pulled her back off the bed. "No more being quiet," she warned, falling back, hands splayed against her breasts.

"I'm all right with that," Dante said, smirking.

She was wet as hell when he lapped at her with his tongue, and it spread over his face when he pushed into her.

He'd been here none too long ago, but it was never a chore coming back.

She tasted of both of them together, intermingled between her legs.

Her hands skimmed over her stomach and up to her breasts until she could wrap her fingers around them, thumb and forefinger pinching at her nipples with a pleased sigh.

"How do you do this to me, every single time?" she asked.

It was poetic, in its way; not that Dante had poetry on his mind. Nor was he inclined to answer her question right now.

He was more intent on giving her every trick he knew worked: with teeth and tongue, his fingers pressing into her thighs, making wet noises every time he moved.

If he'd started to answer her question with anything more than tongue, Kathy would have physically shoved his head back to where it belonged.

She would have apologized for it! Probably?

But later. Much later. Right now, she was hot and wet and primed to go over any second. And when s did, she filled the air with noises, with words, with filthy promises mixed with romantic nonsense, the two thoroughly entwined in her head.

Filth and romance: that was them, through and through.

Dante held onto her as she shuddered and moved beneath him. He wasn't hard yet - his body needed more time.

But fuck - still worth it, just to hear her.

Kathy was sprawled flat against the mattress, chuckling slightly. "I keep thinking I'm done for awhile and then you come by and show me that I'm not." Her hands reached down to try to pull him up and over her, wanting to hold him for just a little bit.

Look, she'd been good and filthy and now she was feeling cuddly and romantic.

"Funny," Dante murmured. "I was just thinkin' how you're reliable like the Energizer bunny."

He let himself be pulled up, and even wrapped his arms around her.

"That's gonna be my Halloween costume," Kathy decided, gratefully holding onto him. His heartbeat was strong in her ear and she dropped kisses onto his chest. "Sexy pink bunny with a drum. You'll be the only one who really gets it."

Dante laughed softly. "It'd be fucking amazing," he murmured.

"Okay, so pink teddy or pink skirt and bra ensemble with suspenders?" Kathy asked, thinking of all the Halloween costumes her store would be inundated with in a week or so.

"Skirt and bra," Dante decided. "Stick with the classics."

"But isn't Halloween all about not being yourself?" Kathy teased, wrapping her leg around one of his.

"Yeah, but one of those is slightly more likely to get you fucked up in a bedroom upstairs during the party than the other," Dante teased.

"You know I can't pass up better odds of getting fucked," Kathy laughed. "Even if they're only 'slightly.' Next question: what are you gonna be?"

"I don't know yet," Dante mused. "Do I gotta decide?"

"I'm not a member of the Halloween brigade, so I'm not up on all the rules," Kathy said, amused, "but I think you're okay with not knowing until about 10 minutes before whatever activity the costume is needed for."

She kissed him, light and teasing. "Hey, if you ever need me to bring over all of Dite's 'Sexy Whatever' costumes to help you decide, I'm here for you."

"You should do that," Dante mused, "Make Anders help you model, too..."

"Help me model?" Kathy asked. "I've got my costume all thought out. This is on you now, babe."

She beamed at him. "But Anders is welcome to help you, too."

"Okay, scratch that," Dante snickered, "I mean, make Anders model."

"Nope, sorry," Kathy said and, newsflash, she was not sorry at all, "now I've got this image in my head of you in fishnets and heels and that's just not going away anytime soon."

"You don't need to dress me up for Halloween to get me in fishnets," Dante said, his voice sounding lazy.

And in a flash she had pounced on him, knocking him onto his back and straddling him, bending over with an eager expression on her face. "What do I have to do and why did you never tell me?"

Dante laughed, stretching an arm out behind him. He watched her face for a moment, a lazy smile on his face.

"Ask," he said.

He wasn't into drag, really, but he also had zero problem with putting on fishnets in the bedroom if she was into it.

Neither was she, not really, but there had been several Tumblr threads of male celebrities in ladies lingerie that had been too attractive to say she wasn't at least a little into it.

"Dante, will you wear fishnets for me sometime?" she asked, batting her eyes at him prettily. "Heels negotiable."
