33 Apocalypse Ave (and eventually to Limbo City), Friday Afternoon

Last week, Kathy had been an utter lump, eating ice cream and playing sad music and watching a lot of TV while she got used to life without the guys. This week wasn't actually much easier, but Kathy's tolerance for her own moping had run out and left her needing to do something that wasn't just dwell.

Fortunately, it wasn't like she was lacking in options. With the guys gone and Raven spending most of her time out in the woods, the house was just too big and full of memories. So she was moving back to the apartment above Luke's - along with Raven, at least nominally - and this week she'd really gotten her ass in gear when it came to packing. Most of the upstairs was packed, even if those boxes were still mostly stacked downstairs, and now she was just cleaning out their old rooms of the detritus the always seemed to accumulate under furniture and in corners.

Like this old credit card bill of Dante's from...April of 2017. Kathy snorted and rolled her eyes, preparing to toss it into the bin that was half-full of junk when she noticed that one of the items on there was in Hangul. Wait. Had Dante been learning stuff in Korean?

Wait. 김치 크림 파이. Was that a-- Kathy grabbed her phone and did a quick search and yep. It was pretty much exactly the kind of website she'd been expecting with a name like that. Definitely didn't have to do with desserts, that was for damn sure.

"Oh." She wasn't entirely sure what to make of it, especially since that was back when everything had still been really...rough...between them. They'd been friends, in a tentative kind of manner, but no more. So then why...?

"Hi, Portalocity? I've got a portal scheduled to Limbo City for later on this evening, but I was wondering, could I bump it up to earlier than that? Something this afternoon would be good, yeah."

And Kathy couldn't even be disappointed by it, not when he'd been so demonstrative with them before.

And not when he was reacting so beautifully now.

She eased off. "Do you want me to take you all the way into my throat?" she purred.

She wouldn't even make him use words to answer.

She got them anyway.

"Oh fuck yes."

"Well, since you asked so nicely..."

Kathy took him in again and didn't stop until she had swallowed him down.

Then swallowed again, so he could feel the way her throat constricted as he moved in her mouth.

Dante let out a ragged groan of pure fucking thanks, clinging tightly to her hair.

Not holding her there, though. He knew better.

"Missed that too," he managed.

Kathy wanted to chuckle but didn't have the air - and the air she did have was needed for making him make more noises like that. She moved roughly over him, lips wet and tight on his dick, mouth and throat dragging around him.

His hands in her hair made her wetter and she took all that desire and turned it back to him, building it up to a conflagration between them.

She was gonna make him come right down her throat, like she'd promised at first. Too soon, Dante groaned something that sounded like a warning, the pads of his fingers rough against the back of her neck.

He could get lost in that mouth of hers.

Might just.

Kathy backed off a little bit, pulling away some so she could breathe. But she didn't stop, giving him the choice of whether he wanted to finish now, just like this, or wait and come some other way.

Or maybe, just maybe, getting both if they were really lucky.

They'd skated around the edge of this one too many times of late. And as much as their earlier conversation had been tempting...

Fuck, Dante didn't want to move. Not like that, anyway. His hips rolled gently against her mouth, wanting more, wanting to keep going until he went.

That was answer enough for Kathy. Wrapping her arms around his thighs, she pushed her face forward to claim those last few fractions of an inch and swallowed him down again.

There were some complicated emotions at play here, she'd cop to that, but they all were focused on leaving Dante weak in the knees and crying out her name.

She drew a groan from him as he clung to her, pleasure flushing over him, dragging him down and down and down all the way down her throat fuck Kathy--

That was the groan she'd wanted.

She didn't let up until he ran dry, didn't let slide him out of her mouth until he started twitched and even then she licked him clean before pulling away entirely. And even then, it was to just nuzzle his thigh while she watched his perfect, beautiful fuckin' face.

She'd done that. Her.

Dante certainly wasn't arguing with that. His fingers moved mindlessly through her hair, just feeling, as he came down.

And when he did come down a little bit, and looked down, his face was alight with fondness.

"Hi," she said, looking right back up at him, all sunshine and smiles. "Has anyone told you how pretty you are when you come? I love watching your face."

"Nobody lately," Dante said, his fingers sliding along to trace her jaw.

He was fascinated by the curve it formed when she smiled.

She did that a lot when he was around, funnily enough.

"Then I'm glad I had a chance to remind you," she said, kissing his hand when it slid by. "Because you're gorgeous. Even back when I was determined not to fall for you, you could make my heart skip a beat with a smile."

Dante laughed softly, relaxed, and coaxed her back to her feet. "Don't regret it now, huh?"

"No matter what happens, I could never regret you," Kathy said, more honestly than his teasing probably warranted.

It earned her a hug, was what it did.

Tight and happy and full of five days of missing her.

She hadn't gotten him to come so hard he fell to his knees, but that just meant that he could support her when she wrapped both legs around his waist and kissed him, hard and long and full of five days of missing him, too.

He hadn't wanted to come that hard. He wanted to be here with her.

Even odds on whether Dante would ever tell her that in those words, though.

He kissed her back, his hands sliding up her back and exploring her skin all over again. "Missed you," he mumbled between kisses. "Fuck, I missed you."

"Yes," she said and then her voice caught and she couldn't say anything else. But the fervor was there in how she rained kisses on his face and how tightly she clung to him.

It was nothing but the shower.

Eventually, Dante pulled away from her mouth and dropped his chin on her shoulder.

It was strange how important she felt in his arms. Something had shifted over the past year, and he wasn't sure what.

But he was happy to be here.

All Kathy knew was that even though this had started with her teasing him about getting him on his knees, she was in no rush to leave his arms. It was like five days of frustration got muted when he held her like this; sure, it was still there, just a lot less pressing.

"Hey," she murmured in his ear, only just loud enough to be heard over the falling water. "Can I teach you a Korean word?"

"Always," Dante murmured.

"Saranghae," Kathy said, pronouncing it slowly. "I bet you can guess what it means."

In no small part because he'd been hearing versions of that for awhile - for far longer than he'd been hearing its English counterpart.
