Kathy was sitting crosslegged in her living room, surrounded by a truly staggering number of anatomically-shaped lollipops, hard candies, and other confections. It turned out that the company that had supplied Dite's with chocolates and candy had gone out of business and multiple other companies had sent samples to the store in hopes of scoring the contract. Kathy...wasn't sure what it said about the store or the island that it was considered a lucrative enough market for a number of stores to go to this much trouble.

But, she was determined to be a good manager and if that meant spending the afternoon trying a ridiculous amount of sexy candy to decide which she liked best, well, she was up to the task. As long as she took breaks for real food every few hours, she should be okay, right? And she had a pen and paper to record her observations (and had come up with several criteria to judge them on), making this all legit and aboveboard and not just an excuse to gorge out on penis-shaped candy all day.

So far, she'd noticed that the sour gummy boobs made the cut on her lip burn and the mold for one of the companies tended to make their chocolates look more like melted candles than anything sexy. Oh, and another company used cheap chocolate that tended to flake off which was just NOT attractive in something meant to simulate body parts. It was this kind of attention to detail that separated the good managers from the mediocre, see?

Anders snorted. "I'll say you're helping -- helping me lose an eye. Just for that, you have to go first."

Kathy stuck her tongue out at him. "Spoilsport," she said before obediantly closing her eyes and opening her mouth.

"And proud of it," Anders said, and fumbled with the candy a bit before unwrapping one to hold to Kathy's lips.

That was...not the shape she'd been expecting, no. Definitely much flatter and more oval than she'd thought. Pulling away slightly, she stuck her tongue back out and ran it over the surface.

"There's definitely a front and back to this," she said, keeping her eyes properly closed. "Hold the front up for me?"

Was there a bas-relief on the front? She could tell there were curves and ridges...

"You had the front," Anders told her, but obediently turned the lollipop so the design faced her tongue.

Kathy dragged the tip of her tongue over the front. "Well, it's strawberry, so I should order it for Dante regardless," she said. "And I think that..."

She lifted her tongue up to the cleft in the lollipop and wiggled her tongue around. "If this is what it's really like, I might have been missing out with the whole not liking girls thing." She took a long lick. "Am I right?"

"You have the right idea," Anders told her, before slyly adding, "... and a good tongue. Sensitive and agile. But you should probably know girls don't taste like strawberries."

"Oh?" Kathy asked. The smartest thing to do would be to leave it there. But she was feeling more bold than smart. "What do we taste like, then?"

Anders wouldn't have said it if he hadn't been feeling bold to start with; he met her question with a smile.

"It's tangy more than anything," he said. "And salty, and musky, and a little metallic sometimes. I've always liked it, but I like the whole situation."

Kathy had found a lot of her boldness had been curtailed since coming back. It was nice to have a little bit back again.

"The whole situation?" she asked, voice going a little husky. "What do you mean?"

She just liked hearing talk about it.

Anders could see what she was doing, but he'd never been able to resist husky-voiced Kathy.

Maybe he didn't want to resist.

"I mean, everything about going down on a girl," he said, sounding quite self-assured. "It's warm, and soft against your tongue, and you can hear and feel your partner enjoying herself. I never understand men who say they don't like it."

He'd also said it was because she was delicious, but she was pushing up against the edges of just how brave she was willing to be right now and that comment seemed like it would cross the line.

"He's not," Anders agreed immediately. "For one thing, if he wants you to get him off, he should be willing to do whatever it takes to return the favor."

He twirled the lollipop stick between his fingers idly, watching Kathy's mouth with more than casual interest.

"Anyhow, is it my turn, or do you want to finish first?"

"I can do both at the same time," Kathy said. And yes, she kept it deliberately vague as to whether she meant that in response to his comment about getting off or his question.

She did, however, reach for the lollipop he was twirling. Because she was going to finish that.

Anders had been intentionally vague, and he couldn't resist a grin at the way Kathy had followed suit. He obediently closed his eyes.

"Ready when you are. Be gentle with me."

They always did work well together that way.

"But not too gentle," Kathy said, looking for a bit of candy she'd spotted a few hours ago. She thought it would be a particularly tricky thing for him to guess, with the way it was shaped similarly to other candies in the pile. "Open wide."

Anders opened his mouth and obediently took in the sweet, working his tongue over the surface. He thought it was a cock at first, but if it was he couldn't make sense of the tab at one end or the indentation in the middle. He worked it over to one side of his mouth, still puzzled. "Now there's a brag you don't hear every day," Anders commented, and sucked the lollipop deeper into his mouth to get a better sense of its shape. Something about the indent below the breasts nagged at him until he finally figured out what it might be.

Kathy had to laugh before she could properly answer. "Yes," she told him. "They're just body-pops, oddly enough. Neck to knees and nothing else."
