Apartment Above Lukes, Christmas Day

Kathy had gone slightly less Christmas!Kathy this year, in part because her apartment was smaller. But there was a tree - the largest she could fit in her apartment - and decorations up everywhere that wasn't low enough for Ronin's tail to knock over. Most of the tree was covered in decorations she'd bought last year, but on the front were two very important ornaments, a half-burned clay pine tree, clumsy and made by a child, and six delicate metal fans knotted on a length of fishing wire.

There were Christmas carols playing softly through speakers, cookies and cocoa (and stuff to spike it with) on platters on the table, and presents waiting to be unwrapped under the tree. But, more importantly for the moment, there was a blanket on the couch and a dog looking for cuddles, and a moment of peace during the hectic holidays was a gift not to be squandered.

"I dunno," Kathy said, carefully smoothing away his hair so she could meet his eyes. "Is it weird that I wanna go through a day of getting constantly and casually used by, like, three guys at once?"

She shrugged. "It may not be what every person fantasizes about, but that doesn't make it weird. Just...personal, I guess."

"Okay," Dante said, voice still soft. He kissed her, hips moving again, pressing into her gently.

Kathy smiled at him and nuzzled his throat, letting his hips work their magic. She'd kind of...lost her place in all this, brain overtaking body for a bit there and closed her eyes, trying to get back to it.

Dante found a rhythm that was gentle and slow. That lingered, giving him some time with her, and the sting of all the marks she'd left on him.

"Fuck, you're beautiful," he murmured, watching her, her face...

Her eyes opened again, heavy-lidded and soft, lashes dark against the pink of her cheeks. She smiled up at him, a little shy the way she always was when he gave her a heartfelt compliment, one of the ones that just seemed to come from somewhere deep inside. "Glad this isn't a view you've gotten tired of," she said, lightness belying the depth of emotion he stirred.

"Never," Dante said, and pressed his mouth to those pretty lips. "Prettiest girl I've ever seen."

Funny, how she seemed to have gotten even prettier over the years.

See? She always did tell him he was biased.

Kathy kissed him, soft and ardent and yearning, the palms of her hands skimming up his back. "You're my best present. Every year, it's you."

"Best, huh," Dante managed with a shallow laugh, and rocked his hips to reclaim his space in side of her.

"Well, tied with Anders," Kathy amended. "But you're here right now and he's not, so you're currently first-best."

He slid inside and Kathy could just feel her body adjusting to him, wrapping tightly around him and urging him deeper.

Dante laughed shallowly. "Still gonna hold that one over his-- fuck-- head," he said. Buried his face in her neck again and gave a few quicker thrusts, craving the friction.

Kathy groaned, feeling that slow slide back into it, the feelings between her legs starting to one again overpower everything else. "Stop trying to get me in trouble," she said, using her internal muscles to squeeze him on his next thrust in.

"But it's so much fun--"

The rest of that sentence was interrupted by a loud groan.

"Mmmhmm, what was that?" Kathy asked, and chuckled, rich and deep.

"Ugh, you suck," Dante muttered, didn't mean it, and rocked into her again. Harder this time.

"And you like it when I do," Kathy said, sliding her hands back down to his ass. Next time he withdrew, he'd be pushing himself right into her talons. Not hard or far, but hopefully enough to give him a thrill.

It drew another gasp out of him, though this time, his hips didn't stutter. Mm, just that little hint of pain-- "Fuck," he whispered.

"I'm gonna keep them there," Kathy told him, her hips rocking up to meet his. "They'll be waiting every time you pull out."

"I love you," Dante breathed, and pressed into her hard, setting a rhythm much faster and rougher than just a few moments ago.

Oh fuck.

Kathy moaned as Dante started to really move. She'd wanted to laugh at him saying he loved her because she had her claws in his ass, but he'd quite effectively stolen her voice away - and, a moment later, her desire to laugh at all. She wrapped her legs around his and kept her hands right where they were, doing exactly as she'd promised: every time he reared back to withdraw, her hands were waiting.
