Anders reached his fingertips over, tracing the bumps. "Those are clever," he said idly, as he thought about what to tell Kathy. He understood this was about more than her choice of birth control.

"I haven't been with anybody but Dante in a few months," he said in the end, serious tone at odds with their all but removed clothing and reddened flesh. "And I've no reason to think I'm sick.
