Kathy shook her head. "I wanna be home," she said firmly, aware that the 'somewhere else' he'd mentioned was probably the hotel but half-afraid it would be back to his place. And she just--couldn't. Not yet.
"I guess I'll unpack what we need? And maybe...we can make a next on the floor out of couch cushions?"
This was what she got for not wanting to sleep in this empty apartment, but being too lazy to pack up and move anything else.
"...Did you guys take both beds to LC?" She couldn't quite remember.
