Kathy opened up the tin she'd put them in as soon as Dante had given them to her and there they were, safe and sound. The little green lump liberally covered in glitter that Sarah had fashioned out of modeling clay, and the little metal fans that were scattered all over the bottom of the tin. Kathy would have to restring them when she got home but two, three, four, five, six - they were all there, safe and sound.
"Thank you," she said, closing the tin carefully and holding it to her chest. "Thank you."
