Eliot knew better than to expect her not to get into the fray and try to help. He was working now on making sure she was doing it intelligently. "Goin' out there without a plan is a suicide mission, and frankly, you're better'n that. Let me send you some information on flankin' maneuvers and the like. Non-lethal urban traps, things you can set off from a distance while you're gatherin' the suckers up." And, oh look, Eliot was pulling up said information on an actual computer without breaking anything or wandering off on an internet tangent.
Somethings he knew how to do, even on these newfangled machines.
"You folks got plans to set up quarantine sectors? Maybe find an abandoned commercial district. You said the local transient population is already lyin' low, so you shouldn't have to do much to clear it out."
If she was determined to stick around and try to keep this thing from spreading -- which obviously she was -- Eliot was going to do his damnedest to make sure she had the intel to have a chance at doing it properly.
"Any way I could talk to this Stealth person? Sounds like she's your CO. She might have some need-to-know information she ain't passin' around to the lower ranks just yet. Nothin' to get worked up over, it's a pretty standard operatin' practice."
