It had been ten days since the kids had left and Kathy was mostly back to normal. The fact that it was the end of the semester had probably helped a bit in that regard - it was possible to be maudlin and to study your ass off, but it took a lot more energy than Kathy really had to spare.

Her immediate plans for the evening - more studying, finals started on Monday - had been immediately derailed when Dante had declared it a night off, carrying her downstairs to a pillow pile, made from what looked to be every pillow in the damn house. As if that wasn't dirty enough, he plied her with a mixing bowl full of ice cream, whipped cream, and caramel sauce, a similar-sized sundae for him on the other side of the nest.

Ice cream, blankets, pillows, and boyfriend. The perfect recipe to get rid of post-kid and pre-finals blues.

"Well, your whole reason for not telling me in the first place was so that I wouldn't jump you and mess up your art," Kathy pointed out, still in that low, sleepy voice. Not that she was all that tired, but Dante's hands were lulling her into a soft, almost dreamy state. "So I don't think getting laid was on your agenda anyway."

Kathy gasped, rearing up against his body as her whole upper half arched under the onslaught of his nails. Her eyes flew open, all hints of dreamy lassitude gone in an instant, and she cried out.

It wasn't a bad noise.

"There we are," Dante murmured, sliding his fingers into her hair as he tugged her in closer.

Kathy panted as she fell forward onto him, balance fucking useless when her very arms gave out. She sought his mouth, hungry now.

"Fuckin' cheater," she growled as she claimed his lips.

Dante's chuckle was swallowed by her mouth, his fingers digging back into her shoulders as he kissed her whole-heartedly -- filthily.

He was such a brat. And don't think this proved your point, Dante! They'd been bickering over whether or not she could withstand him telling her pretty things - biting had never been brought into it!

Dante groaned against her mouth, that sharp pain shooting straight down to his dick. "Mm, nice," he moaned, leaning up to press his body against hers more fullly.

Fuck, how did it only take a kiss or a bite or even a few pretty words to get her to this?

"Better be careful, then," Dante said, smirking. His hands slid down along her arms until he found her hands. "Mm. Maybe ride me..."

"I'm just worried about the art," Dante told her, all innocence.

Kathy moaned, tilting her head back. "You know, once finals are over, I'm gonna need you to take me to bed and just fuck me till I can't literally can't move."

"So maybe here's something to keep you going," Dante said, kissing his way up her neck. "Every night you study... you write down one way you want me to fuck you."

Sure, they could have been naked by now, but sometimes it just felt really good to slowly make out until they couldn't stand it for another minute. This whole afternoon had been perfectly slow and even Kathy didn't feel like speeding it up quite yet.

Kathy's hands slid under her skirt, thumbs hooking around the waistband of her underwear to pull them down to mid-thigh. Why had she even put the stupid things on today was a mystery for the ages, but they were absolutely in the way.

Her skirt, she kept.

"Oh," Dante murmured, when he realized what she was doing, his eyes drawn to the pale skin of her legs, where the fabric of her skirt brushed against them. "Pretty."
