Last year, Dante had surprised them all but good with his Roseapalooza and decision to make breakfast. Kathy wasn't quite that crazy - that was reserved for Christmas, with minor bleedthrough for Thanksgiving - but she wasn't going to let this year go without a return volley.

Which meant baking. In a tiny red pinup apron over never-you-mind and heels definitely not intended for use in the kitchen, but still...baking. And, you know, a bit of tempering and molding chocolate, too. But by that afternoon, she had a two dozen roses for Dante and two dozen roses for Anders.

And a couple extra each for herself because she wasn't stupid thank you. She loved them, but the boys were bad at sharing.

Food, anyway.

Dante leaned in a little closer. "Hey, if you can have it all," he murmured, "Why not?"

"All that plus a view," Kathy said, eyes warm as whiskey, thinking of the last time, with Dante holding onto her hips while she rode him reverse cowgirl style, to better make out with Anders. "You're a pretty lucky guy."

"Never claimed otherwise," Dante said, and stole a kiss.

Kathy let him have it and another one besides. "So," she said, pulling away just far enough to rest her forehead against his. "Plans for the day?"

"Nice restaurant at 6.30," Dante told her, "Beyond that? Hang out, have sex?"

"Oooh, what kind of nice restaurant?" Kathy asked, kissing up the side of his neck. "Like, nice in we dress up all pretty? Or nice as in good food and they don't care like we just escaped a sex dungeon?"

Dante grinned. "Like we dress up nice," he said. "Figured you'd enjoy at least pretendin' not to be dating two lazy assholes all the time."

"Ooooh, letting me live out my secret fantasies, you know I love that," Kathy said, all bright giggles again. "I can be convinced to put clothes on for that."

"Later, I hope," Dante said, hand on her hip.

"What do you think of my current outfit?" she asked, like he hadn't already ogled her in it.

The word 'outfit' was definitely doing a lot of work there, Kathy. It was an apron and some lingerie.

"I'm about three minutes and some dirty talk away from putting you on the counter and eating you out," Dante said, smirking.

"Three whole minutes?" Kathy asked, pressing a little closer to him. "I'm going to have to practice my dirty talk if that's the case."

"I mean, I'm all ears," Dante said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I'm wearing shoes that will scratch the shit out of your back--if you get me going enough," Kathy told him. "And I'd be lying if I said I didn't fantasize about eating one of your roses while your face was buried between my legs."

"Wanna take my flower, huh?" Dante asked, pressing a little closer to her.

"All the way down my throat," Kathy confirmed, letting him back her up against the counter.

"And then I bet you'll swallow it," Dante said. He claimed a kiss.

Her mouth was busy so she couldn't answer.

Hopefully the drag of her heel down his calf would answer him.

Dante groaned.

And dropped down to his knees.

Because he was easy like that.

There was no great honor in being difficult.

"I cheated," Kathy said, smirking down at him.

Three minutes for dirty talk, but why limit herself.

"You're the worst," Dante told her, even as he slid under her apron.

"That's not what your dick is saying," she murmured, resting back on her elbows.

"My dick's kind of a traitor," Dante said, pushing up to press his lips to her folds.

"Don't hate just because it loves me," Kathy said, head tilting backwards to moan.

So did Dante's tongue, as she was about to rediscover. He brushed it over her, gentle at first, his hands settling on her legs.
