Kathy gave a listless shrug. "They're all kind of variations on a theme," she said. "I'm an ex in LA. One time, it was a literal graveyard, with exes rising up out of the roads and buildings. This time, I was convinced it was alive and I was shambling there, but then Rodney made me look down and I realized there were exes everywhere."
